Paul has over 30 years’ experience in protection and control applications engineering and at senior levels with manufacturers GEC Alstom and consulting engineers PB Power.

One of the founders of VPS, he has been a technical leader and manager in his field. He has conducted investigations into major incidents and suggested remedial strategies and solutions. Paul has worked on a variety of assignments in more than 40 countries and has authored a number of technical papers for international events.

Paul’s areas of expertise include power system and protection studies, incident investigations and analysis, applications engineering, system design and settings and special site tests. He is the principal VPS representative in the UK and Ireland for DIgSILENT of Germany.
