Ken is one of the founders of VPS. He is a highly experienced protection expert with over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of power system protection within a large distribution network operator. At Northern Electric and Yorkshire Electricity, Ken was Technical Services Manager, responsible for the protection and technical services division.

More recently Ken has been closely involved with driving improvements in the Oman Electricity Sector, involving one transmission and five distribution companies.

Over a five-year period, all aspects of power system protection were reviewed with significant changes made - especially with regard to the management of protection.
